Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro can show a video clip, but none of them understand a sensor recording. ZTrack treats telemetry as a first-class media type. A GPX track from your motorcycle, a FIT file from your Garmin watch, an SRT subtitle stream from a DJI drone, a KML route exported from a smartwatch — all are parsed automatically, time-aligned to the video, and bound to gauge templates. Change the gauge style, smoothing window, units (km/h vs mph, metres vs feet) or starting frame and the overlay updates live.
ZTrack assumes you came back from a ride with footage that was filmed in the rain, has audio peaks where the camera bumped against a helmet, and a GPX track that drifted while you were inside a tunnel. The smoothing pipeline (moving average plus Kalman filter), the lap detection, the ghost-lap overlay and the math-channel builder all exist because action cameras are noisy. You can sanity-check a sensor with the built-in calibration tool before it hits the timeline.
